Chateau Beau Soleil

Pomerol

Non classif.

last update : Sunday 27 November 2011

Château Beau Soleil is a small 3.5 vineyard located northeast of Libourne in the Pomerol appellation, one of the most prestigious in all Bordeaux.

Beau Soleil belongs to Thierry Rustmann, and is managed by the enologist Aurélie Carreau.

The vineyard has a soil of sand and fine gravel on a subsoil of crasse de fer (iron-rich hardpan). The grape variety is traditional for Pomerol: 100% Merlot. The average age of the vines is 35 years.

In the Bottle

Château Beau Soleil is aged traditionally and rigorously. It is fruity, elegant, round, and with aromas that obviously reflect the Merlot grape.
