STUDIES ON BORDEAUX WINES AND GROWTHS

Chateau Beauregard

Pomerol

Non classif.

last update : Tuesday 09 February 2010

Originally an 18th century Carthusian monastery, Château Beauregard, with its towers and moat, is one of the few true châteaux in Pomerol.
The 17.5 hectares of vines (an average age of 35 years old) grow on a beautiful clay-gravel and sand-gravel terroir with the clear potential to produce excellent wines.
Château Beauregard is aged in barrels from 5-6 different coopers for 16-24 months depending on the vintage.
