Château Le Bon Pasteur is located in a part of the Pomerol appellation called "Maillet".

Hermine and Joseph Dupuy acquired this plot circa 1920. Their grandsons, Jean-Daniel and Michel Rolland, have been owners since 1978.

The 7-hectare vineyard has varied soils, mostly gravelly-clay and gravelly sand. Grape varieties consist of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is over 30 years.

In the Bottle

Thanks to the diverse soils and the expert care of the famous of co-owner and world-famous enologist Michel Rolland, Le Bon Pasteur is concentrated and powerful, with an elegant bouquet. It features vanilla and jam flavors on the palate. Le Bon Pasteur can be altogether remarkable after ten years in bottle.
