80% Merlot – 20% Cabernet Franc.
Aged for 18 months in 100% new oak barrels. Bright ruby-red color and looks somewhat thick.
Floral and red fruit aromas.
Quite tannic, but well-balanced thanks to the fruit. An enjoyable wine, although a little too high in alcohol for me.
Pleasant, rustic, and virile wine.

80% Merlot – 20% Cabernet Franc
This wine appears thick, almost viscous and the bouquet is dominated by red fruit.
This wine seems relatively extracted on the palate, with a tight structure and slightly alcoholic finish.
It is surprising to see such a stylistic difference between 2000 d'Aiguilhe and the 2000 Domaine de l'A since both wines were produced by the same person, Stéphane Derenoncourt!

Deep dark purplish-black color.
Impressive bouquet of red fruit and fresh toast with smoky overtones.
Full-bodied and rather heavily extracted, with a spicy middle palate. Fairly firm, with slightly bitter tannin. Long fruity, toasty, and complex aftertaste.
Very good even though too overtly seductive in my opinion.

Beautiful grip and well-balanced, although a little superficial.
This wine is very attractive and enjoyable, and it is not hard to see why this wine is increasingly favored by wine lovers.

Attractive bouquet of red fruit and spice with floral overtones.
Rather firm and relatively austere on the palate although the tannin is balanced by soft, round fruit.
