The Castéja family has managed Château Doisy-Védrines with great devotion for almost 200 years. Bordering Doisy-Daëne and Doisy Dubroca, and a stone's throw from Climens, the château dates back to the 16th century.
The soil is largely clay-limestone with a shallow layer of gravel on an asteriated limestone plateau.
The vineyard is carefully tended and the grapes meticulously sorted.
Made in the traditional way, Doisy-Védrines is tasty, aromatic, and very rich.
Château Doisy-Védrines' best recent vintages are very nice to drink.
Doisy-Védrines has a good Quality/Price ratio, especially in good years.
