Saint-Georges Côte Pavie was included as a Grand Cru Classé in the 2006 classification. It has belonged to the Masson family for two generations.

The 5.5 hectare slope vineyard on the Côte de Pavie has clay-limestone soil in which artefacts dating from the Gallo-Roman period have been found. The average age of the vines is 30 years. Grape varieties consist of 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Cabernet Franc.

In the Bottle

Saint-Georges Côte Pavie is a powerful wine, with a fruity aroma, a fine tannic texture, and good aging potential.
